Hatching Eggs
Sales Policy
We regularly evaluate each of our breeding pens for fertility to ensure we are selling the best-quality eggs possible.
Many factors can influence hatch rates that are simply out of our control and poor hatch rates do not directly translate to poor fertility. with that being said, we do not guarantee hatch rates.
We will no longer take requests for eggs. Too many people request dozens, we drive to meet them at a swaps and then don’t show up. We will post available eggs when we have them available. If you’d like to request eggs for a certain week, we will need down payment.
We don’t have large breeding pens so getting a dozen of eggs within a week is sometimes rare. We sell our eggs as individuals so customers are able to mix and match different breeds to create a dozen.
We carefully look at each egg before we sell them to ensure there isn’t any hairline cracks.
Hatching Egg General Informtion
This is definitely the preferred method with hatching eggs. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with shipping eggs. Picking them up at our home ensures they won’t be shook up or broken.
Once the eggs are in your hands, we are not responsible for anything.
Pricing of eggs are located on the “Animals/Eggs For Sale” section.
Eggs For Local Pick Up
We are not NPIP certified so we are not allowed to ship outside Wisconsin
This is our secondary option and isn’t our preferred method. So many things can happen in the mail that we won’t be responsible for. These items include:
Smashed packaging - broken eggs- terrible fertility due to transport- delayed shipments- frozen eggs- eggs getting too hot
We ship our eggs in foam egg holders. We can ship up to 14 but you will pay the dozen price. We will try to add 2 extra eggs free of charge to fill the foam holder.
We try to ship on Mondays or Tuesdays so the eggs should not be left in transport over the weekend.
Price is yet to be determined on shipping.
