We offer many different breeds of bantam chickens as chicks & hatching eggs along with Holland lops.
We breed our chickens to the standard of perfection and work to better the breed after every generation. Our birds are kept in a 8’x 10’ shed with roosts and nesting boxes. We have a chicken door the chickens can freely go in and out throughout the day. They have access to our whole front and back yard since they free range. At night, we close the chicken door so no predator’s are able to get in and kill our birds.
Once we decide which birds to use for breeding, we place them in 2’x 8’ breeding boxes. These breeding boxes are perfect for bantams and we can add up to 6 birds per pen.
These breeder pens are kept in a 10’x 12’ half insolated shed where we keep our Holland lop rabbits. We breed our Holland lops to the standard of perfection and take them to shows in Wisconsin.
We breed our rabbits to the standard but when a baby doesn’t have those qualities according to the standard, we rehome them to pet homes. We generally wait till they are 3 months old to rehome them. We make sure the bunnies are healthy before they go to their new homes.
We often take our Holland lops, chickens and therapy dog, Pongo, to nursing homes as part of our mobile petting zoo. We often go to larger events, benefits or even just individual homes with our animals.
